		<description>And this close result is after massive campaigns by various NGOs (including Gore,calling on Americans to call their representatives), and with 8 Republicans voting in favour (so actually tipping the scale and allowing the bill to pass). 

So yes, a climate change law is far from guaranteed, but this is an important step on the way!</description>
